Armenia’s political situation and the possible domestic have been discussed at a meeting between first president Levon Ter-Petrosyan and EU Ambassador Trajan Hristea.
The talks were held Thursday at the headquarters of the opposition Armenian National Congress (of which Ter-Petrosyan is now the leader).
According to a statement by the party’s press office, the first president told the diplomat that the democratization processes and socio-economic progress in Armenia require first of all a legitimate government.
The sides further addressed regional and international developments and their possible impact on the situation in Armenia.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the EU Delegation to Armenia and ANC members.
