Armenian parliament speaker to visit Switzerland


A delegation led by President of the Armenian National Assembly Hovik Abrahmyan will conduct a working trip to Switzerland next week to attend the Inter-Parliamentary Union’s (IPU) 130th assembly.
The delegation includes the parliament members Karen Tchshmarityan (Republican faction), Heghine Bisharyan (Rule of Law) and Karine Achemyan (Republican), reports the National Assembly’s press service.
Abrahamyan will deliver a speech at the assembly’s to address the 125th anniversary of the IPU, and Armenia’s commitments to peace and democracy.
Bilateral meetings are also on the agenda.
The visit will last from March 17 to 19.
